Homebird offers four main types of care: Companion and Daily Care, Personal Care and Hygiene, Day and Night Care, and Live-In and Specialist Care. This ranges from a friendly daily visit through to round-the-clock and specialist support. Every plan is shaped around the individual.
How much does home care cost in Mauritius?

Homebird's care starts from Rs 350 per hour for companionship, with monthly packages for fuller support. Day Care packages start from around Rs 35,000 a month and Live-In care from around Rs 65,000 a month, both including free pharmacy pickup. The final cost depends on the level of care, the location and your loved one's needs, and we always begin with a free consultation.
Are Homebird's carers trained and vetted?

Yes. Every Homebird carer is trained and background-checked before they join us, and chosen as carefully as if they were joining our own family. They are supported by our team with ongoing supervision, so you can trust the person who comes into your home.
Does Homebird provide live-in or 24-hour care?

Yes. Homebird provides live-in care, where a carer becomes part of the household, as well as round-the-clock day and night care with proper handovers between shifts.

Homebird collects and delivers medication to your loved one's door, on time, so it is one less thing for the family to manage. It is included free for Day Care and Live-In clients, and it is unique to Homebird in Northern Mauritius.
