Home care prices in Mauritius

Ask what home care costs here and you will usually be told it depends. That is a hard way to plan for someone you love. So we publish our rates in full, along with everything that can change them.

Who will care for your loved one

Not everyone needs the same help, and not every carer is trained to give it. The grade of carer your family needs is what sets the price.

  • Wound care and dressings

  • Clinical assessment

  • Care plan sign-off

Our Care Operations Director, decides which grade your family needs at the first assessment and writes it into the care plan. It is a clinical decision, not a sales one.

Day and night care

A waking night means your carer stays awake and watchful until morning. A sleeping night means they rest nearby and wake when needed. Bedridden care is given by a health care assistant rather than a carer, which is why it costs more.

What changes your price

You could hire a carer privately, and some families do. Here is what you get from us instead.

  • Every carer background and reference checked

  • Training, first aid and ongoing supervision

  • Liability and indemnity insurance

  • A replacement carer when yours is unwell

  • A written care plan, kept up to date

  • Someone to call when something goes wrong

What your fee covers

Our rates are ranges. Five things decide where your family sits in one.

  • How much care is needed

  • Where you live

  • How much notice you can give

  • Sundays and public holidays

  • Whether two carers are needed to move someone safely

You will always get a written quote before care starts, with the figure and how we reached it. We will never ask you to agree to a range.

Good to know

Not sure what your family needs?

Most people are not, and that is completely normal. Tell us what is happening at home and we will talk it through. No charge, no obligation, and no pressure to decide anything.
